Hi! My name is Lisa Ames, and my husband and two young children live in Milton, Wisconsin. Currently, I am not teaching. In previous years, I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade students.

I currently am the Executive Director for a non-profit agency called Independent Disability Services, Inc. (IDS) in Janesville, Wisconsin. My agency's primary program is teaching adults who have a developmental disability (epilsey, autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation) how to live independently in a supervised living program. My staff teach/assist them with daily living skills (nutritional counseling, grocery shopping, personal shopping, budgeting, etc.).

The main hobby that I have in my life that create the most laughter is my family (especially my two children, a 4 year old girl and an 18 month little boy). By observing their unique facial expressions and just living life as a child I find humor and laughter in their actions. I enjoy playing with them as it brings back childhood memories of my own (Chutes and Ladders, anyone?!)

Hello! My name is Holly. I am in my 5th year of teaching kindergarten for Oak Creek public school. This year I am teaching at Edgewood Elementary - home of the Eagles (which I think is funny because we do not have any sports teams at this age)!

In my spare time, I enjoy training for the Indy 500, synchronized swimming, and alphabetizing my soup cans.

Just kidding...I'm a kindergarten teacher...what spare time?!?

When I used to have spare time, I enjoyed cooking, reading classics, and ballroom dancing. I also enjoy babysitting my 4-year old nephew who was recently banned from doing his monster impressions at preschool because he was scaring the other children. He's hilarious!

I'll be watching The Office and 30 Rock tonight - always a guaranteed laugh!

Hello again, I have been "gone" for 2 weeks and have come back and seen that my previous blogs are not posted? My name is Trish Jensen and when I am teaching, I teach in Altoona, WI Physical Education to 2nd through 4th Grade kids. I have almost 250 students. So, that means I get to play with children for a living. When I am teaching, I laugh throughout my day and often tell my husband about the fun things that happen. MY hobbies are almost all sports but with the warm weather here, in particular, golf and softball.
